Can Someone Apply For a Correction of the date of the birthday or can it be changed in the camp?

I was previously mobilized for Stream 1, but I was unable to go, hoping for Stream 2. Will I still be posted to the same state or not?

You are in a new Stream and will be deployed according to NYSC’s policy. Check your dashboard and re-print your Call-up Letter when you are notified to do so.

I got a medical certificate 3 months back. I hope it can still be accepted during camping.

No. If the date on the Medical Certificate of Fitness is over 3 months old, you must get another one.

Can I use my medical certificate to apply for relocation on health grounds?

No. Your Medical Certificate of fitness shows you are fit for the Orientation Course. You have to get a Medical report from a Government or Military Hospital if you want to be relocated on health grounds.

In line with COVID-19 guidelines, would there be a need to perform COVID test? Would PCM do it before camping, or would it be done corporately by the NYSC?

You are mobilized based on your age on the day you graduate, not your current age.

It is better not to laminate your Statement of result to enable easy verification of your credentials. However, if you have laminated your documents, they will be accepted.

What about Foreign Graduates that did pre-camp verification but whose dashboard still shows “You have not been evaluated yet”?

The reason is usually that the graduate is yet to upload some documents or fulfill all the requirements. Look carefully on your dashboard to see the reason given by the NYSC Evaluation Officers and to do the needful. Afterward, please send an email with your details to [email protected], notifying them that you have uploaded the required document.

When is the deadline for application for relocation after camp?

Once you have finished the Orientation Course, you can apply for relocation after 3 months. However, all relocation will be stopped 90 days to the end of the Service Year. Contact your Local Government Inspector (LGI) for more details.
